At Hanging Terraces, we are committed to supporting the local community. We are so that we keep ourselves as a part that is merged to the community part of it and always will be. We started with old community houses, and we will continue supporting this community in the years ahead.

Social engagement: 

Everyone on our team is from Al Jabal Al Akhdhar and all have the right skills set to work with us. Our highly qualified staff is here to support you and to ensure that your stay lives up to your expectations and that you leave with amazing memories. 

Our food is made with passion by local families who each add their own personal touch to the delicious traditional meals that they cook. We are delighted to have their support to serve you the best local food made in Al Jabal. 

Environmental engagement:

At Hanging Terraces, we have kept the old houses without changing any of the structure or the architecture. We have only added the required needs for your stay to make sure that it is comfortable and unique.

We minimize water wastage thanks to the water recycling station that we have built. The water used in Hanging Terraces is collected, recycled and and then used by the farms nearby to irrigate their crops.

Safety:

Our drivers are also from the local community and have years of experience driving around Al Jabal. They are committed to your security, follow all driving safety measures and will ensure that you have a pleasant ride to and from your guest house. Their 4-wheel drive cars are well maintained and equipped with all safety requirements.

Our activities team is fully certified in all the activities they carry out. Every activity we provide such as trekking, hiking, canyoning, via ferrata or zipline is safe and tested. These activities are monitored by experienced experts in their field.
